Segment And Function Of Screw Of Twin-screw Extruder

Kelongweier Three Screw Extruder(37)

The extruder screw is generally divided into five sections: conveying section, melting section, rubber mixing section, exhaust pipe section, and homogenizing section. The actual functions are as follows:

1. Conveying section: conveying raw materials to avoid overflow;

2. Melting section: In this section, the raw materials are sufficiently melted and homogenized according to thermal convection and frictional shearing;

3. Rubber mixing section: to further optimize and uniform the specifications of raw materials, produce an ideal structure, and have a mixing effect of ubiquity and dispersion;

4. Exhaust pipe section: discharge water vapor, low-content chemical substances and other residues;

5. Homogenization (measurement verification) section: conveying and increasing, creating a certain working pressure, so that the raw materials at the die mouth have a certain relative density, and further mixing, and finally achieve the purpose of successful extrusion and granulation;

The difference between ubiquitous and decentralized mixing is ubiquitous mixing, which makes the solution segmentation and asset reorganization, so that the spatial distribution of each component is uniform, the key basis is separated, and the fluidity is replaced under the effect of in-situ stress such as pulling, distortion, and liquid movement again. Finish.

Dispersing and mixing, the components are crushed into particles or the specifications of the incompatible two-component dispersion medium reach the specified range, which is mainly accomplished by shearing working pressure and extensional stress.
