The main reasons for the large vibration and noise of twin-screw extruder equipment are as follows, for your reference:


1. The barrel is not installed horizontally and is not concentric, resulting in friction between the screw and the barrel, which may cause the equipment to jam in severe cases.


2. The screw gap is not adjusted properly, resulting in friction between the screws, and in severe cases, the screws will also be stuck.


3. The screw barrel is seriously worn, and there is friction sound or other noise in the barrel, which can be solved by replacing the original thread or the barrel with large wear.


4. There are pellets and hard materials in the raw materials. Due to the small gap between the screw and the barrel, the material in the front section of the screw is not completely plasticized, which is prone to noise. It is necessary to increase the temperature of each zone and accelerate the melting speed of plastics under the condition that the process requirements are met.

5. When the wear clearance of parts such as bearings and gears in the motor, transmission box increases, or the lubrication condition is poor, vibration will occur.


6. The base of the twin-screw extruder is unstable or the anchor screw is loose.


7. The position of the motor is not adjusted properly, causing the nylon pins in the coupling to be deformed or sheared. Need to readjust the motor position, replace the nylon pin


8. The output shaft of the transmission box moves in series, and the bridge shaft is loose, resulting in the position being out of alignment.


9. Hard objects fall into the screw, the original thread is damaged, etc.
